The main goal of this type of testing is to identify the material’s performance characteristics under various levels of stress and strain.

CHEMICAL TESTING

Chemical testing is a process used to identify the composition and quantify the individual elements within a material. 1. Chemical Analysis Through OES (Optical Emission Spectroscopy):

At ASR Metallurgy, our Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) service offers precise chemical analysis across a variety of metals, adhering to international and national standards to ensure the reliability of our testing process.

  • Low Carbon Steel: Tested as per IS:8811-2018 and ASTM E415:2021, we determine the precise elemental make-up of low carbon steel to ensure its suitability for its intended applications.

  • Cast Iron: Utilizing ASTM E1999:2018, our tests reveal the chemical composition of cast iron, a critical factor in its mechanical properties and quality.

  • Tool Steel: Our analysis based on GIS 1253:2013 helps in identifying the elemental constituents of tool steel, ensuring its performance in demanding conditions.

  • Stainless Steel: By testing according to IS 9879:1998, we assess the chemical stability and corrosion resistance of stainless steel, crucial for its varied uses.
